As the Compliance Director, you will be pivotal in ensuring the organization adheres to the highest regulatory compliance standards. You will be responsible for participating in the education and development of internal and external parties by providing ERISA technical guidance and quality review feedback. Additionally, you will update compliance materials, participant forms, letters, and distribution packages to reflect the latest law changes and disclosures. Your expertise will be crucial in effectively resolving escalated technical issues from clients and internal staff, maintaining an expert-level knowledge of qualified plan regulations, and performing or reviewing nondiscrimination testing and other compliance testing for 401(k) and pension plans. What you will do:

Engage in the education and development of internal and external parties by offering ERISA technical guidance and quality review feedback
Revise compliance materials, participant forms, letters, and distribution packages to reflect law changes and disclosures
Resolve escalated technical issues from clients and internal staff effectively
Support plan design for existing and onboarding clients
Maintain expert-level knowledge of qualified plan regulations
Perform and review nondiscrimination testing and other compliance testing for 401(k) and pension plans

What you will need to be successful:

College degree or relevant work experience is required
QKA (Qualified 401(k) Administrator) designation preferred
5+ years of retirement or pension experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret plan documents
Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations
