What you will do:
Sell services via telephones, e-mail, in-person meetings, and video technology
Identify new business opportunities to achieve all individual and company revenue goals
Negotiate contracts
Utilize the network to solicit new sales opportunities and manage leads from customer referrals
Analyze customer information to ensure the best outcome for all parties, including pricing, timing, and overall execution of service
Create strong working relationships with clients, carriers, shippers, and receivers
What you will need to be successful:
Minimum 3 years of sales experience
Experience working in an inside sales environment preferred but open to outside sales candidates looking to get off the road too
Bachelor's or associate degree preferred but not required; minimum high school diploma
