What you will be responsible for:
- Prepare and post daily, weekly, and monthly journal entries to ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies
- Assist in preparing financial statements and documentation required for internal and external audits
- Contribute to developing monthly financial forecasts by analyzing historical trends, reviewing actual performance, and updating revenue and expense projections
- Support the budgeting process by compiling data, analyzing financial trends, and assisting in the creation of detailed annual budget reports
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of balance sheet accounts, including verifying and reconciling transactions between the general ledger and subsidiary accounts
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring that all financial transactions for the period are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
What you need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 2+ years of experience in accounting
- Detail-oriented, self-starter with excellent communication skills
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office experience
- SAP experience is highly desirable
- Manufacturing industry helpful
