What you will do:
Develop and deliver long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards
Establish processes for governing the identification, collection, and use of corporate metadata, ensuring metadata accuracy and validity
Implement methods and procedures for tracking data quality, completeness, redundancy, and improvement
Create strategies and plans for data security, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and archiving
Conduct data capacity planning, lifecycle, duration, usage requirements, feasibility studies, and other tasks
Ensure data strategies and architectures are in regulatory compliance
Determine governance, stewardship, and frameworks for managing data across the organization
Select and implement appropriate tools, software, applications, and systems to support data technology goals
Oversee the mapping of data sources, data movement, interfaces, and analytics to ensure data quality
Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and development plans for enterprise architecture and infrastructure operations
What you will need to be successful:
Demonstrated experience as a Data Architect or in a comparable role
Comprehensive understanding of database structure principles
Expertise in data governance and data quality management
Strong proficiency in data modeling and database design
Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices
