Palmer Group is partnering with a mortgage field services client looking to hire a Contractor Services Department Coordinator to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This position would offer the opportunity to work remotely. Successful candidates have one to two years of office-related or customer service phone experience. Work model:
- Remote but must live in Iowa or Texas
- 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Monday - Friday
What you will do:
- Ensure adequate coverage is available to handle all property preservation orders from clients
- Reach out to general contractors in territories across the U.S. to set up their services for properties in each geographic region
- Assign property preservation work orders to independent contractors
- Manage performance and capacity of independent contractors
- Research contractor disputes and complaints
- Recommend transition to active status or termination based on contractor performance
- Expedite escalated orders that have exceeded completion deadlines
What you will need to be successful:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2+ years of office or customer service-related experience
- Prior property preservation experience or knowledge of property maintenance
- Outgoing personality and comfort level speaking with people over the phone
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Basic math skills
- Experience working with vendors preferred
