An Iowa City area CPA firm is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their busy, growing team. Strong candidates for this position will have a bachelor's degree, CPA, and at least two years of experience in accounting. What you will do:

• Prepare and file tax returns
• Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance
• Inspect account books for efficiency and accuracy
• Prepare and process payroll
• Organize and update financial records
• Prepare pertinent documents and reports

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree, CPA preferred
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Tax experience required
• Ability to read and analyze financial reports
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills
