Are you ready to take on a pivotal role with this established client's finance team? Palmer Group is assisting our client in their search for a Finance Business Partner who will be the trusted advisor for our dedicated Business Units. In this role, you will produce monthly management accounts, perform variance analysis, and provide insightful commentaries. You will monitor internal cost modeling, offer recommendations for costing updates, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will manage the end-of-year audit process, streamline financial planning and analysis functions, and oversee the global planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI cycle. - On-Site
- Generate the monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and commentaries for your dedicated Business Units
- Oversee internal cost modeling for Business Unit operational performance by providing variance analysis and recommendations for cost updates
- Serve as the trusted and respected "go to" person responsible for the Business Units regarding all non-transactional Finance queries
- Offer technical accounting guidance to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements for group reporting
- Manage the end-of-year audit process for responsible Business Units
- Execute assignments or projects as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer
- Streamline, coordinate, and enhance the Financial Planning & Analysis functions across the Group
- Take ownership of the global planning, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI cycle
- Ensure the end-of-year audit is completed on time with no material issues
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
- CPA or master's is a plus
- More than 5 years experience in a finance/accounting role with progressively more responsibility
