This individual will assist leaders with inventory, cost savings, and advanced reporting and modeling to support business decisions. What you will do:
Update and monitor standard cost and system updates
Conduct budget analysis versus actual budgets to identify variances and root causes
Collaborate with team leaders in the areas of supply chain, purchasing, and manufacturing on analysis and decision-making
Complete quarterly cost reviews to support pricing strategy
Work with purchasing and manufacturing to analyze and monitor cost-saving measures
Lead physical inventory annually by partnering with manufacturing and external auditing teams
Participate in forecasting manually for standard cost setting and process improvements
Contribute as a member of the accounting team to drive efficiency in accounting processes
What you will need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Minimum of 5 years of experience in related roles
Excellent verbal and communication skills are required
Ability to collaborate with internal and external employees at all levels
Advanced understanding and practical application of standard costing concepts
Proven skills in analysis and problem-solving
Advanced to expert proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and email systems
Knowledgeable with financial systems and data structures
