Palmer Group has partnered with this established client to fill the Production Supervisor position. In this role, you will provide support and leadership to foster a productive, safe, and profitable environment. The Production Supervisor will also plan and facilitate the work of team members to support the timely completion of production schedules, safety objectives, housekeeping, and quality. - On-Site
- Provide performance feedback and appraisals to team members to guide their development
- Educate and enforce quality, safety, standards, and processes, and recommend changes as opportunities arise on the production floor
- Support continuous improvement and value stream projects supporting the business and meeting the production schedule demands
- Conduct root-cause analyses of the manufacturing process to identify, define, and resolve problems and opportunities
- Enlist the requisite support to ensure the timely resolution of issues and the prompt implementation of improvements
- Report and respond to product and process nonconformance issues
- Implement and sustain in work areas, ensuring that tools and materials essential for the performance of the work are readily available
- College degree in manufacturing, engineering, business administration or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- 2+ years in a supervisory role is preferred
