What you will do:

• Manage and assemble monthly financials and ad-hoc financial reports
• Uphold bank and trust relationships, access, ACH, and wires
• Prepare, verify, or approve statutory annual reports and license renewals
• Oversee annual statutory and financial audits
• Prepare to report for FP&A, audit, and external tax consultants
• Support the operational accounting team by providing a review, approval, and monthly internal controls monitoring
• Review and oversee financial policy, review, approve, and maintain financial procedures and the accounting manual

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, equivalent work experience is also considered
• 5+ years of experience within the accounting and or finance field 
• Prior experience with financial statement prep within the lending industry 
• Knowledge of consumer lending, banking, investments
• Highly technical with expertise in any of the following: Excel, PowerBI, SQL, PowerQuery, JD, Python, SAS
