What you will do:
Collaborate with supervisors to determine required materials, track overdue materials, and review production orders
Request materials and schedule deliveries based on job priority and availability
Support purchase and production order processing for subcontracted tasks
Leverage SAP and ProClarity reports to maintain accurate and reliable inventory
Implement FIFO inventory management and assist operations managers in resolving shelf-life issues
Perform inventory cycle counts along with operations and accounting teams to verify or adjust inventory data
Ensure production schedules and material specifications are met
Communicate with necessary teams to navigate material shortages or exceptions
Assist with the implementation of 5S program initiatives and quality policies
What you will need to be successful:
Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school
3-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Material inventory/control and SAP experience preferred
Ability to work independently and multi-task
Skilled in reading blueprints and assembly prints
Proficient in interpreting bill of materials, drawings, and certification documentation
Working knowledge of manufacturing workflow
Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills
Microsoft Office365, Word, and Excel skills
