Job Description

A longstanding manufacturer in the Cedar Rapids area is looking to add an Electrical and Mechanical Technician to its growing team. With a 3-day on, 3-day off, 4-day on, and 4-day off schedule, candidates will have the ability to plan their schedules and have built-in overtime. Work model:

On-Site
Works Hours: 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Schedule: Sunday Night to Wednesday Morning, 3-3-4-4

What you will do:

Maintain and troubleshoot facility equipment- this includes electrical, mechanical, and facility repairs
Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled
Read and understand mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic blueprints and schematics
Demonstrate proficiency with machining, weldments, and fabrication

What you will need to be successful:

High school diploma or GED
Two-year vocational technical degree or a minimum of five years of related experience
Knowledge of HVAC, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Experience with dissembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment
