• On-Site

• Design gating, riser, and chilling system to ensure compliance with all customer specifications
• Determine optimum tool design for the manufacturing processes alongside the tooling engineer and pattern shop
• Design trial casting programs and review them through all manufacturing, inspection, and dimensional departments
• Interpret inspection results, investigate nonconforming castings, and institute corrective actions
• Investigate and resolve production problems
• Review customer drawings.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining work instructions for all process areas
• Learn and understand customer and regulatory specifications 

• Degree in engineering required or a 2-year degree in a technical discipline with significant foundry experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of foundry engineering experience
• 5+ years of sand casting experience
