What you will do:

• Establish quality standards by studying manufacturing and engineering requirements
• Review and approve work instructions and procurement requisitions
• Establish finished product inspection standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Perform quality audits of technical requirements
• Prepare quality reports with appropriate information and trends
• Initiate continuous improvement projects through cost-reduction measures
• Identify safety and health concerns by surveying occupational conditions

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or manufacturing or equivalent work experience
• Experience is quality and/or continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment
• Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
• Certified Quality Engineer preferred but not required
• Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
