Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join a growing team in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area. You will be responsible for servicing new HVAC and Refrigeration equipment parts, performing repairs, installation, and troubleshooting live electrical components. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring the efficient operation of HVAC systems, contributing to our clients safe and comfortable work environment. Interested? Keep reading!Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and diagnostics of industrial HVAC systems
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on industrial HVAC equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair complex malfunctions in industrial HVAC systems
- Install and commission industrial HVAC units, including large-scale ductwork and refrigeration systems
- Collaborate with facility managers and engineers to provide customized HVAC solutions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in HVAC systems preferred
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in challenging industrial environments
