Job Description
Seeking a cybersecurity professional to strengthen security across a primarily Linux-based IT environment. This role focuses on identity and access management, security monitoring, and automation using PowerShell and Python.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage user access, provisioning, multifactor authentication, and role-based access controls.
• Maintain SIEM and log management systems, investigate security alerts, and support vulnerability monitoring.
• Automate security workflows, reporting, and account management.
• Support Microsoft 365 Security and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Develop security documentation and collaborate with technical teams to improve security practices.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field and five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Cybersecurity certification such as Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or CCSP.
• Strong PowerShell skills and experience with IAM, SIEM, Microsoft security tools, and networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Linux/Bash and security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO 27001.
• Ability to work with export-controlled items and provide occasional support outside normal business hours.
• Python, Git, configuration management tools, and firewall administration experience are preferred.
