Description: We are helping our client identify candidates for their Supply Chain Engineering team. This Solutions Engineer will serve as an "internal consultant" owning end to end development from identifying bottlenecks, researching vendors, POC, to full implementation!
Responsibilities/skills:
Lead end-to-end solution development, from initial concept and feasibility through simulation, detailed design, and implementation.
Design scalable solutions ranging from facility-level improvements to large-scale, integrated supply chain network initiatives.
Evaluate emerging logistics technologies and lead vendor engagements, feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and pilot programs.
Develop business cases and financial models, including ROI and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), to support capital investments.
Use data analytics, simulation, and network modeling to identify constraints, evaluate solutions, and improve capacity, service, efficiency, and cost.
Provide technical leadership throughout project development and implementation, partnering with Operations, IT, Finance, Engineering, and external technology providers.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Supply Chain Engineering, Logistics, or a related field; Masters preferred.
5+ years of progressive experience in supply chain engineering, solutions design, logistics strategy, or a related field.
Proven experience designing and implementing logistics solutions across projects of varying scale.
Experience evaluating and managing technology vendors, including feasibility studies, proof-of-concepts, and pilots.
Experience with end-to-end supply chain network design and integration across manufacturing, distribution, and transportation environments preferred.
