Job Description

Description:We are seeking an Epic Credentialing Trainer to join a cross-trained clinical training team for a large healthcare organization. This role supports Clinical applications (inpatient and Radiant/radiology) not Revenue Cycle or Cadence, so there is flexibility in the specific Epic credentials and background a candidate brings. The ideal person is a confident, engaging trainer who blends strong classroom delivery with instructional design skills (Articulate Storyline and Rise) and a clinical workflow mindset. The training team is highly cross-trained across the Epic Clinical suite, so candidates with varied Epic training experience are welcome, whether their strength is Radiant, inpatient documentation, orders, clinical informatics, or another clinical application

Responsibilities/skills:
  • Deliver Epic application credentialing and end-user training for clinical/inpatient and radiology workflows via Zoom and Windows Virtual Desktop, facilitating virtual and (as needed) on-site sessions for clinicians, nurses, and allied health staff
  • Develop and maintain training content, job aids, tip sheets, and e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise (a plus, not required)
  • Support a ticket-based workflow for training requests, scheduling, and learner follow-up, tailoring training to varied learner levels from new credentialing candidates to seasoned clinicians
  • Collaborate with informatics and analyst teams to stay current on build changes and workflow updates
  • Track learner progress, completion, and competency outcomes, and contribute to curriculum refresh and continuous improvement of training materials
Qualifications:
  • Epic credentialing/training experience in a clinical application (Radiant, inpatient, or related clinical modules)
  • Proven virtual training delivery experience, comfortable leading sessions on Zoom
  • Proficiency in content development, specifically Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • Familiarity with Windows Virtual Desktop and standard virtual training tools, with strong presentation, facilitation, and adult-learning skills
  • Ability to manage a queue of training requests/tickets independently, with excellent written and verbal communication (preferred: multiple Epic clinical credentials, a background as a clinical end user or in clinical informatics, or experience building e-learning from scratch)
