Maintenance Mechanic 

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide variety of industrial equipment to minimize downtime and support production efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in ensuring safe, reliable operations.

Shift Options- 2,2,3

Day Shift: 7:00am-7:00pm
Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, modify, repair, and rebuild plant and facility equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance to identify and address issues before equipment failure occurs
  • Inspect, clean, lubricate, adjust, and repair machinery to ensure efficient operation
  • Assist production teams with equipment changeovers and machine setup
  • Dismantle defective machinery to access and repair problem areas
  • Replace or install new mechanical components as needed
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues involving mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following company safety procedures
  • Help minimize downtime by responding quickly to maintenance issues

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and equipment repair in an industrial or manufacturing environment
    OR
  • Equivalent trade school education, technical certification, or formal maintenance training
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience repairing and maintaining industrial equipment
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Pneumatics
    • Hydraulics
    • Temperature and pressure gauges
    • Mechanical systems and components
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing or packaging environments
  • Welding, fabrication, or electrical troubleshooting experience
  • PLC troubleshooting exposure is a plus
