Description: Our client is hiring a supervisor responsible for leading daily operations within a distribution environment, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and team engagement. The position focuses on developing team members, optimizing processes, and driving performance against operational goals.
Responsibilities/skills:
+Interview, train, and develop team members while maintaining appropriate staffing levels to meet operational demands
+Identify and develop high-potential employees, building a pipeline for future leadership opportunities
+Establish and monitor performance metrics related to productivity, efficiency, and quality within assigned areas
+Analyze operational data to identify trends and opportunities for performance improvement
+Train, coach, and lead teams to achieve goals across safety, quality, service, and cost
Qualifications:
+2+ years of leadership experience in a distribution, logistics, or operations environment
+Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
+Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
+Experience with conflict resolution and performance management
