Position Overview
As the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager, you will lead all site-level EHS initiatives at our large-scale operation of 250+ employees. This position is critical in ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, reducing risk, and fostering a proactive safety culture. You’ll drive continuous improvement through hands-on leadership, employee engagement, and strategic alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all EHS programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and training programs to promote a strong safety culture.
• Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Monitor and report key EHS performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Achieve successful outcomes in internal and external audits.
• Reduce workplace incidents, workers’ compensation claims, and EHS-related costs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and leadership teams to embed safety into daily operations.
• Support cultural transformation initiatives focused on continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (OSHA, EPA, DOT).
• Skilled in incident investigation, risk mitigation, and safety training.
• Demonstrated success in leading EHS programs and improving safety performance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS management systems.
• Experience with ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and fire prevention preferred.
• Relevant certifications (CSP, CHMM, CIH, PE) are a plus.
