Job Description

We’re seeking an experienced Production Manager to play a pivotal leadership role in this exciting startup operation. You’ll oversee multi-shift production, build and develop a strong team, and drive performance through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and daily execution. With a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence, you will help shape plant culture and deliver reliable results as new production lines come online.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage shift scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure smooth, efficient operations
  • Lead production teams with a focus on safety, quality, service, and productivity
  • Track performance using KPIs and daily management tools; drive data-based decisions
  • Identify trends, resolve bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to meet daily goals
  • Coach, develop, and engage team members to build a culture of high performance
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean principles and plant priorities
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance teams
  • Ensure strong adherence to GMP and safety standards

 Qualifications
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing operations management experience with increasing responsibility
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven success in operations leadership within multi-shift or continuous operations
  • Background in paper converting, packaging, or related industries (preferred)
  • Experience building and developing skilled, motivated teams
  • Familiarity with Lean tools, continuous improvement, and daily management systems
