Job Description

Position Summary:
Drive manufacturing improvements to increase throughput, reduce inventory, and lower operating costs through cellular manufacturing, process optimization, and equipment enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and improve manufacturing methods to meet quality requirements and reduce labor costs
• Implement cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Investigate customer issues and develop corrective action plans
• Support new product introduction with cost modeling, tooling design, and process development
• Design and qualify manufacturing equipment and fixtures
• Conduct time studies and develop cell layouts and standard work
• Lead scrap reduction and yield improvement initiatives
• Provide daily floor support and technical guidance

Requirements:
• Bachelors of Science in Engineering required
• Experience with Kaizen, continuous improvement, and formal problem-solving preferred
• Proficiency in time studies, capacity analysis, and OEE metrics preferred
• Experience with CAD, blueprint reading, and manufacturing equipment implementation preferred
• Knowledge of cell layout design and ergonomic workstation setup preferred
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
• Systems thinker with strategic problem-solving abilities
• Data-driven approach to process optimization
• Strong influence and relationship-building across teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
• Focus on safety, ergonomics, and scalable solutions
