Job Description

Overview
Supervise maintenance operations and lead skilled trades teams to ensure optimal equipment performance, facility upkeep, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop maintenance team including scheduling, performance management, and training
  • Execute preventative maintenance programs and oversee equipment repairs
  • Coordinate with engineering staff and outside contractors
  • Manage facility projects including office moves and building maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  • Review operational reports and resolve maintenance issues to minimize downtime
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives
  • Handle union relations and grievances as needed

Requirements Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years supervising maintenance/skilled trades teams
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Technical aptitude with equipment maintenance
  • Self-motivated with ability to drive change
  • Experience with TPM, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement concepts highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
