Job Description

CAD Designer/Drafter 

Responsibilities:

• Assist Design Engineers with Audio-Visual and facility drawings from concept to implementation.
• Create technical documentation including architectural plans, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, cable legends, and bid documentation.
• Prepare wire labels and project overviews according to company design and engineering standards.
• Support Install Staff during installation periods.
• Generate accurate project as-builts.
• Ensure design and engineering hours stay within budgeted estimates.

Qualifications:

• Degree (or in-progress) in a technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD or VidCAD; familiarity with Revit or BIM modeling.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office; knowledge of additional AV software a plus.
• Familiarity with Pro Audio, Video, Projection, Display, and Control Systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to support cross-functional project teams.
