We are seeking an experienced Plant Engineering Manager to lead engineering, maintenance, and reliability functions in our high-volume paper converting facility. This role is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime, managing preventive maintenance programs, and driving capital projects that improve safety, efficiency, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop engineering/maintenance teams to ensure operational reliability.
Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance and troubleshoot converting/packaging equipment.
Manage capital projects, upgrades, and facility improvements within budget.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and environmental standards.
Drive continuous improvement in safety, quality, and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
7+ years of maintenance/engineering experience in paper converting, packaging, or manufacturing, with 3+ years in leadership.
Strong knowledge of converting equipment (corrugators, slitters, rewinders, sheeters, laminators, etc.).
Experience with CMMS systems, reliability-centered maintenance, and project management.
Preferred: Lean/Six Sigma certification and automation systems experience.
