Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer with deep AWS expertise to design, scale, and optimize cloud infrastructure that drives innovation across our business. In this role, you’ll architect highly available systems, automate deployments, and ensure our platforms are secure, resilient, and future-ready.

This is more than just operations—you’ll partner with Development, Product, and Business teams to shape cloud strategy, mentor others, and deliver solutions that directly impact how we serve our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Own the Cloud: Maintain and optimize our AWS environment to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.

• Architect Solutions: Design and implement IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions that meet business and technical goals.

• Automate Everything: Develop CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation, GitLab), and automated deployment frameworks.

• Mentor & Lead: Provide technical guidance and thought leadership across Cloud, Development, and Business teams.

• Drive Innovation: Proactively identify vulnerabilities, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities to enhance our infrastructure.

• Collaborate in Agile: Work closely with product managers and developers to prioritize features, implement changes, and deliver value quickly.

• Document & Standardize: Define best practices, create playbooks, and set standards for future infrastructure growth.

• Data & Networking: Manage cloud networking (Cloud WAN), database infrastructure, and ensure reliable integrations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years in AWS Cloud Services operations.

• 4+ years with AWS Serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.).

• 3+ years deploying with CI/CD, GitLab, and CloudFormation.

• 3+ years scripting (Bash, Python).

• 5+ years automating infrastructure tasks.

• 2+ years with AWS DMS.

• Strong Background: IT systems administration and cloud networking.

• Communicator: Skilled at translating technical solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Leader & Mentor: Motivates teams, inspires collaboration, and shares knowledge freely.

• Highly Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
