Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder – Sub-Assembly to join our team. This role is responsible for assembling and integrating mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components to build machine sub-assemblies according to engineering specifications and blueprints. The ideal candidate will have experience working with hand and power tools, reading technical drawings, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the assembly process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble machine sub-components, including frames, brackets, actuators, and wiring harnesses, following detailed schematics and blueprints.
• Perform precise fitting, drilling, tapping, and fastening to ensure proper alignment and functionality.
• Work with electrical and pneumatic systems, routing cables and hoses per design requirements.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure assembled components meet design tolerances and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.

Qualifications:

• Experience in machine building, mechanical assembly, or a related field.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
• Hands-on experience with various hand and power tools, including drills, torque wrenches, and grinders.
• Basic understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an industrial or automation setting.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Previous experience working with conveyors, robotic cells, or automated systems.
