Description:We are seeking a professional archivist for 30-35 hours/week to support collections processing and management, digitization, and management of the digital asset management platform (DAM) internally called the FindIt! Resource Center. The highest needs in the Archives are collections processing or accessioning, digitization, and management of the digital asset management platform.
Collections processing/accessioning: 10 hours/week
Digitization: 10 hours/week
Digital Asset Management: 15 hours/week
Responsibilities/skills:
- Maintain collections in relationship to existing collections policy, including managing intake, appraisal, transfer, and documentation of analog and digital assets.
- Develop and implement digitization plans to ensure access to vital company history using the company's digital asset management (DAM) platform
- Administer the company's DAM system, currently Widen/Acquia, in collaboration with the DAM custodians, IT department, and other relevant vendor partners to monitor, maintain, and assess storage needs, access, and the backup of systems, databases, and collections.
- Assessing asset collection database and Archives workflow processes to identify and recommend improvements based on the changing needs of the company
- Support the Manager in research and pulling assets for projects and data inquires
Qualifications:- A Master’s degree in Archives and Special Collections, Archival Studies, Library and Information Science, or certification in an equivalent field of study, and at least two years of related experience.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed.

- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a cross-functional team.
- Strong writing and research skills
- Knowledge of/experience with digital asset management platforms, including but not limited to Widen/Aquia
