Responsibilities/skills:

• Category Specialist will be responsible and accountable to make recommendations on pricing each month by state based on impact to Sales, Margin and Inventory results
• Identify and resolve issues and concerns on product availability and item set up with vendors and stores
• Support the buyer in Category Management process by compiling data to deliver reportable solutions
• Will be point of contact to Vendors, Distributors and coordinate and facilitate in store execution and events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field or Associates Degree
• Experience coordinating multiple projects at a time
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with attention to detail and time Management
• Knowledge of the retail industry; understanding of specific category product lines and core customer behavior
• Results focused; uses performance targets and goals to drive own activities as well as help team succeed
• Office computer skills (excel); able to learn company systems and tools
