Duration: 3 month contract
Where: Remote, but local to Memphis, TN
Title: HR Operations Specialist 1
Pay: 20/hr
Start date: 12/31/24

Summary:
We're seeking a skilled HR Specialist for a 3-month assignment with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills and HR experience, particularly in handling employee inquiries related to W2s and other HR matters.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Advise employees on employment regulations, benefits, and HR policies
  • Evaluate job positions and assist with classification and compensation
  • Prepare and maintain personnel records
  • Respond to employee inquiries via phone and ticketing system

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Workday preferred
  • Familiarity with Zendesk and Five9 a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Details:

  • Remote position (local to Memphis area required)
  • Shift: 9am-6pm CST (occasional 8am-5pm)
  • Strong customer service orientation and enjoy taking calls
  • Quick learner to handle increased call volume during W2 season
