Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to lead our material handling automation and control systems development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of SCADA projects, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing support.

Responsibilities:

  • Own entire project lifecycle, including inception, engineering, deployment, and continuous support
  • Develop and modify existing SCADA applications using Ignition software
  • Create innovative new designs and system architectures in Ignition
  • Collaborate directly with customers to gather requirements, manage expectations, and provide technical consultation
  • Lead and support implementation of new control systems
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing SCADA infrastructure
  • Adapt to and support various operational areas as needed
  • Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 2+ years of material handling experience
  • Proficiency with Ignition SCADA software
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems and automation
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional projects

Technical Skills:

  • Ignition SCADA platform
  • Industrial control system design
  • PLC programming
  • HMI development
  • Networking and communication protocols
