Description: We are seeking an individual with extensive experience supporting systems in a 24x7 enterprise, server deployment, and automation, security/vulnerability resolution, and experience maintaining cloud platform infrastructures.

- As a member of our IT Infrastructure team, you will implement and manage a large number of servers in both physical and virtual environments.
- We manage multiple strategic projects, including cloud migration, research computing, application support, and automation strategies.
- You will report directly to the team manager.
- You will propose, design, develop, and support the server environment to provide tiered service offerings for mission-critical systems both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Install and manage server operating systems, and support software/services in various infrastructure environments.
- Support server infrastructure including chassis, servers, and associated management services.
- Develop scripts/tools necessary to extend functionality and automate day-to-day management of services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in managing and supporting large environments with enterprise servers
- Expert-level knowledge of server operating systems Windows- 2012, 2016, 2019
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with performance tuning and analysis
- Experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting high-performance systems
- Experience managing server hardware management software
- Experience in scripting and automation- PowerShell or Power CLI
- Experience with virtualization technologies
- Experience deploying guest servers in virtual environments
- Experience in high-availability clustered environments
- Experience in supporting enterprise communication systems
- Experience with system management tools
- Strong experience with disaster recovery processes and procedures
- Proven technical leadership with solid system administration skills
- Experience with networking technologies
- Strong security awareness
- Excellent project management skills
- Knowledge or working experience with IT service management concepts
Industry-specific experience preferred
