Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in Conveyor Systems maintenance or at least 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Technician role in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution facility environment.
- Electromechanical skills with proficiency in troubleshooting PLC controls, servos, and other discrete electrical control components.
- Minimum of five years of maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment preferred.
- Ability to connect a maintenance PC to a PLC and understand the PLC program to troubleshoot complex controls failures.
- Capability to make minor code changes under the direction of Engineering.
Responsibilities:
- Lead complex maintenance tasks, equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls.
- Perform complex maintenance on tools, test equipment, etc.
- Document all inspections, maintenance, repair work, and failures comprehensively.
- Lead the resolution of complex equipment/system failures and faults, providing quality service and feedback to customer personnel on problem evaluation and resolution.
- Assess complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and recommend modifications or improvements as necessary.
- Participate in the negotiation and administration of service contracts, as needed.
- Perform technically demanding work within the specified technical area of expertise.
- Identify and solve problems effectively as they occur, particularly in situations where the problem is more difficult and complex.
- Provide electromechanical corrective repairs and preventative maintenance as required.
