Job Description
Description: The Financial Analyst will make recommendations to improve profitability and increase ROI. You will be responsible for the integrity of financial information including understanding cost allocation processes and the data included in project or product business cases.
Responsibilities/skills:
- Prepare and monitor Financial Forecasts
- Help Interpret Financial Reports
- Analyze business performance and financial data, which may include customer pricing and incentive programs, cost center reports, activity rates, variances, inventory valuation, and logistics costs
- Assist in preparing financial analysis for scenarios that optimize financial performance, including proposals for new initiatives, cost-saving measures, and investment opportunities
- Participate in cross-functional projects with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and Product teams
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitors and market conditions, and provide insights and analysis to support business decision-making for consideration
- Collaborate with Power BI, Accounting, Sales, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams to ensure consistency of data across company
- Propose ROI analyses (NPV, IRR, payback) for projects such as new products, capacity expansion, and automation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in finance, accounting, business, or related field of study and three (3) years of experience in FP&A or related role
- Financial analysis and modeling skills
- Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or other virtualization tooling
