Job Description: We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our client’s team. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and specifications using software. This role involves collaborating closely with the customer, engineering, and manufacturing teams to develop precise and manufacturable designs that meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of steel materials, fabrication processes, and industry standards, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop steel-based products using CAD software (SolidWorks or similar).
• Create accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with customers and production teams to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness and manufacturability.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards, material properties, and safety regulations.
• Update and maintain design documentation and version control.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer, preferably with steel-based products.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of steel materials, manufacturing processes, and design standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
