Job Description
One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in Brush, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will support reliability by developing project scopes and justifications, submitting capital requests, and managing related projects.
The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
E&C Engineer Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all emergent capital projects from initiation through completion.
- Provide project management support for larger base capital projects.
- Collaborate with the reliability engineering team to develop project scopes and justifications.
- Navigate and manage projects through the emergent capital request system and processes.
- Oversee multiple concurrent small-scale projects (up to 20 at a time), while also contributing to larger capital initiatives.
- Work closely with operations and reliability personnel throughout the day to support ongoing activities.
- Oversee contractors executing projects in the field, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Manage all administrative aspects of assigned projects, including: developing scopes of work, creating technical specifications, assisting with obtaining equipment quotes, coordinating the bidding process, when necessary, and scheduling material deliveries and installation with plant personnel.
Requirements of the E&C Engineer:
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in utility or industrial plant environments is preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Previous experience managing contractors.
- Experience with project management tools and developing project plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam taken or interest in taking it is preferred.
