Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for a Civil Engineer for a position located near Seibert, Colorado. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing civil expertise, with a focus on evaluating project drawings and handling requests for information (RFIs) across multiple projects. 

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 9+ years of civil engineering experience with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space 

• Reviewing and interpreting design drawings, studies, and technical analyses to ensure compliance with project specifications and requirements. 
• Managing submittals and RFIs by collaborating with project stakeholders and engineering teams to clarify requirements and resolve discrepancies. 
• Supporting the construction team by addressing civil engineering-related inquiries, clarifying design or construction details, and troubleshooting on-site issues. 
• Assisting in planning, reviewing, and providing direct technical support during construction phases to ensure alignment with approved designs. 
• Coordinating with other engineers to ensure the construction work adheres to design intent and meets regulatory and project standards.

• 9+ years of civil engineering experience with 2-3 years specifically in the renewable generation project space (construction or engineering design).  
• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited school or strong/commensurate experience.  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical skills. 
• Resource should have knowledge of/familiarity with NCRs, RFIs, and the ability to understand and manage the scope of a contract. 
• Previous experience with software including ProjectWise, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Procore. 
• SAP experience is a plus. 
• Professional Engineering license, or Engineering in Training/certification to become a professional engineer preferred.
