Job Description

One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in Lubbock, Texas. The E&C Engineer will support secure and efficient testing of distribution equipment by coordinating logistics, collaborating with field teams, and executing tests from a Control Center.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have 2–5 years of related experience in the utility or telecom sectors, including testing experience.

• Perform point-to-point testing for distribution field devices (e.g., 3 closures, cap racks, sectionalizing cabinets), and distribution substation equipment.
• Perform logistical preparation and scheduling with field crews to ensure efficient testing operations.
• Operate within a SIP-controlled environment, adhering to security and compliance protocols.
• Coordinate device testing logistics and collaborate with internal teams to support testing activities.
• Execute testing procedures, track progress, and document results using Excel and PowerApps.

• 2–5 years of related experience in the utility or telecom sectors, including testing experience.
  
• Experience with electric distribution systems.
  
• Familiarity with Excel and PowerApps.
  
• Ability to coordinate and report on testing progress.
  
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to manage logistical coordination.
  
• SCADA experience is nice to have.
