One Tech Engineering is searching for an Electrical Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The Electrical Engineer will support a large-scale, multi-year initiative focused on wildfire mitigation across multiple regions.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering and previous experience with system protection and distribution system modeling.

• Collaborate with internal engineers and external EPC contractors to support a large-scale program.
• Conduct site visits as needed, based on project requirements and team coordination.
• Responsible for the design, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system.
• Develops functional requirements.
• Understands and applies standard engineering principles.
• Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test how a machine, structure or system operates.
• Designs and tests components, and integrates components to produce final product.
• Monitors quality of products and controls the efficiency of processes.
• Evaluates a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
• Investigates root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience with system protection and distribution system modeling.
• Familiarity with modeling software such as ASPEN, Synergi, or CAPE.
• Strong technical competency with the ability to work independently.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in distribution system modeling is a plus.
