Our client is seeking an organized, proactive, and people-focused Early Career Program Specialist to support and coordinate our growing internship and early career programs. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of the internship program, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for interns while partnering closely with hiring managers, HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Internship Program Coordination:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day administration and execution of the company's internship program.
  • Manage program calendars, timelines, key milestones, and intern activities.
  • Coordinate intern onboarding, orientation, training, networking, and engagement activities.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for interns throughout the program.
  • Partner with managers to ensure interns have a structured, meaningful experience.
  • Coordinate intern offboarding and end-of-program activities.

Recruiting & University Relations:

  • Support recruiting efforts for internship and early career positions.
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, offers, and pre-employment activities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, career centers, student organizations, and other early-career talent sources.
  • Coordinate and attend career fairs, campus events, networking events, and recruiting activities.
  • Help develop creative ways to attract and engage early-career talent.

Intern Engagement & Development:

  • Plan and coordinate intern events, networking opportunities, leadership interactions, and professional development activities.
  • Develop communications, newsletters, presentations, and other materials for program participants.
  • Coordinate mentorship or buddy programs.
  • Gather feedback from interns and managers throughout the program.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the overall intern experience.

Program Administration & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate intern records, program documentation, and tracking systems.
  • Track participation, engagement, program milestones, and other key metrics.
  • Assist with reporting on program outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage program logistics, including scheduling, meeting coordination, materials, events, and supplies.
  • Support special projects related to Talent Acquisition, HR, Learning & Development, and early career initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Communications, Education, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in program coordination, recruiting, HR, university relations, event coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience working with college students, interns, early-career professionals, or university recruiting is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Comfortable interacting with employees, candidates, managers, university partners, and leadership.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
