Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-performance cooling and thermal systems for critical applications including power generation, data centers, oil & gas, and industrial processes. With a strong focus on engineering, innovation, and custom-designed solutions, they’re seeking an Electrical Engineer to add to their team in the Claremore, OK area.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain electrical systems, control circuits, and power distribution throughout manufacturing facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, controls, and automation issues involving manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Support PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and other industrial automation and control systems.
  • Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance programs for electrical equipment and systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, increase efficiency, and optimize energy usage.
  • Support the installation, testing, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and electrical systems.
  • Create, update, and maintain electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement process improvements and automation solutions.
  • Ensure electrical systems and projects comply with NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and applicable safety standards.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors, vendors, and utility companies as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel and equipment operators.
  • Support capital projects and other facility improvement initiatives from design through implementation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and industrial automation controls.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and controls systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or comparable electrical design software.
  • Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA, and electrical safety standards.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
