Our client is a leading manufacturer of air-cooled heat exchangers and custom-engineered thermal solutions serving industrial and energy markets. They are seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team in the Tulsa, OK area.

Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize production floor layouts to improve workflow, reduce material handling, and increase manufacturing efficiency.
- Develop and implement process flow improvements to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce cycle times.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other industry best practices.
- Evaluate production capacity and recommend equipment upgrades, layout changes, and process improvements to support future growth.
- Partner with Design and R&D teams to ensure new products are manufacturable, cost-effective, and integrated efficiently into existing production processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis on production inefficiencies and work with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
- Evaluate equipment utilization and lead the planning and integration of new equipment to improve production flow and minimize downtime.
- Develop and maintain process layouts, process flow documentation, SOPs, and other manufacturing standards.
- Identify and implement cost-reduction opportunities related to production layouts, equipment utilization, and material handling.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to resolve manufacturing and product flow issues.
- Travel occasionally for vendor selection, audits, equipment evaluations, and related business needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or manufacturing optimization within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of production layout optimization, workflow management, and manufacturing systems.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools used for facility layouts and process design.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Ability to evaluate manufacturing processes, equipment, and capacity to support operational growth.
- Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
