Job Description
Our client is a renowned manufacturer of industrial equipment and machinery, with a focus on providing high-quality solutions for the oil and gas industry. They are looking to add a Automation Journeyman to their team in Odessa, TX.Eligible candidates must hold a Valid Electrician License (Journeyman or Master Electrician) and pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening

Responsibilities
- Provide field troubleshooting and technical support for electrical, automation, and pumping unit systems.
- Support installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning at customer sites.
- Assist with preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, and VSD testing/repair training.
- Train customers, partners, and internal teams on system operation and troubleshooting.
- Document service activity, recurring issues, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering and remote support teams to resolve complex issues and test new firmware/products.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in safety meetings.
- Travel to customer sites as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Electrician License (Journeyman or Master Electrician) required.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, automation, and communication systems.
- Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment in field environments.
- Ability to train customers and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel.
