Job Description

Our client is looking for an exceptional Talent Acquisition Specialist reporting directly to the HR team at our corporate headquarters in Houston, TX. This is an hourly position, full-time, onsite, and responsible for a wide variety of recruitment tasks that include maintaining HR reports, ATS management, resume screening and interview scheduling.

Responsibilities: 
  • Assist with overall recruiting needs & provide efficient strategies
  • Consult with hiring team to discover staffing needs for teams
  • Write and post job descriptions on career websites and newspapers
  • Manage varied scheduling processes, which can involve several rounds of interviews, various assessments, travel booking, and a broad array of the firm’s team members schedules
  • Prepare training materials, presentations, lunches, and evaluations for training sessions
  • Prepare and coordinate firm training and development programs including lunch and learns, academies, and other training programs organized by the department
  • Assist in updating and maintaining training content to meet evolving business needs
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness and attendance of training programs and recommend improvements
  • Source candidates by using databases, social media, approved recruiters
  • Evaluate and screen resumes
  • Ensure recruitment process is accurately tracked in ADP and updated consistently in all internal systems
  • Coordinate and schedule all interviews, hiring manager coordination and interview feedback gathering, and other recruiting efforts
  • Provide weekly recruitment reports for in process interviews
  • Assist the hiring team with recruiting methods, interview questions, and reference calls
  • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions working closely with HR team
Qualifications: 
  • 2-3 years of experience in recruiting is required
  • Excellent communication and written skills & flexible working style
  • Ability to work well under pressure, handle multiple projects and shifting priorities, facilitate solutions, and meet deadlines and milestones for projects assigned in a professional manner
  • Solid knowledge of recruitment policies and procedures
  • Hands on experience with various candidate selection processes
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter and additional job posting tools
Education/ Certification
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of related training & development, recruiting, and/or program coordination experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services setting
