Job Description

Our client is looking for multiple CNG Field Supervisors to join their growing team! They provide natural gas compression equipment and services to customers globally in the Oil & Gas, Power, Transportation, and Marine sectors. Headquartered in Houston, TX, but with commercial and services hubs around the world, our client provides world-class services to more than 22,000 units in its installed base.

Successful candidates must pass a background check, MVR check and drug screening as a requirement for these positions.

General CNG Field Supervisors Summary:

The CNG Field Supervisors will provide hands-on technical, and operations support of Reciprocating SLOW SPEED Compression equipment and supporting utility systems within customer facilities during commissioning, start-up, operations, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, performance testing, and trouble-shooting situations as required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads and serves as the technical expert for an assigned crew
  • Serves as a technical subject matter expert (SME) in all technical areas of Field Service customer support; providing technical and mechanical services support to all internal and external customers in settings such as workshops, compressor stations, process plants, etc.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of the Company’s products and services
  • The thorough testing of equipment before it is released for operational work
  • Must be mechanically hands-on and proficient in performing maintenance on natural gas compressors or engines
  • Experience with LOW-SPEED engines and compressors required
  • Experience with RECIPROCATING compressors required
  • Experience with compressor/engine brands, such as Ingersoll-Rand and Cooper-Bessemer highly preferred.
