FT Registered Nurse (RN) positions available at a Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) in Nashville, TN, caring for critically ill and medically complex patients who require extended recovery time.

CONTRACT DETAILS:

• Up to $2,880/wk
• Up to 26 week contract with possibility to extend
• GUARANTEED 48 hour work week (OT paid after 48)
• Shift: 4x12s Days and Nights - Overtime after 48 hours
• Every other weekend required: Yes

SCOPE OF WORK:

• Deliver, direct and supervise exceptional patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Clinicians will be working with high acuity patients including those needing IV, trach and vent care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year experience within an acute care setting. Critical Care preferred.
• Valid TN or compact RN License required
• AHA BLS required
• AHA ACLS required
• Experience with trach and/or vent care
• Ideal candidate should have recent hospital floor experience & comfortable working in an acute care environment.
