Part-Time Dermatology NP / PA Opportunity in Northern New Jersey

Are you an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant interested in a part-time opportunity that allows you to continue practicing medical dermatology without committing to a full-time schedule?

myDermRecruiter is seeking a New Jersey-licensed Dermatology NP or PA to join an established dermatology practice in Northern New Jersey.

This opportunity may be especially appealing to an experienced provider seeking additional clinical hours within a busy, medical dermatology-focused environment.

Opportunity Highlights

• Competitive compensation: A clearly defined hourly rate for your clinical time.
• Part-time schedule: Approximately 12 hours per week across two to three afternoon/evening shifts.
• Afternoon/evening hours: Anticipated four-hour shifts, generally 3–7 PM or 4–8 PM, subject to scheduling confirmation.
• General medical dermatology: Focus on evaluating and treating medical skin conditions, without cosmetic treatment responsibilities.
• Established patient demand: Join a busy practice with reported patient volume to support an additional provider.
• Experienced clinical team: Practice within a dermatology group that includes an established physician and physician assistant.
• Two Northern New Jersey locations: Provide care at two practice offices approximately 20 minutes apart. Travel between locations is required.

The Practice Environment

The practice provides medical dermatology services to a diverse patient population, including a substantial number of patients covered by New Jersey Medicaid.

This position is designed for an experienced NP or PA comfortable evaluating and managing general dermatology conditions within an active outpatient practice.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active New Jersey license.
• Approximately 1 - 3 years of dermatology experience or greater.
• Clinical experience in general medical dermatology.
• Strong diagnostic, patient assessment and communication skills.
• Willingness to work at two nearby Northern New Jersey locations.
• Existing credentialing with New Jersey Medicaid plans is highly desirable but not required.
