Funding Representative – 100% Remote- US Citizen ONLY

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Funding Representative to join our client's finance team. This is a fully remote, contract-to-hire opportunity ideal for someone with strong numerical skills, excellent organizational abilities, and an interest in finance, billing, or healthcare administration.

The Funding Representative will be responsible for maintaining funding for self-insured clients, communicating claims information, preparing billing reports, and working closely with internal departments and external clients to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.

This is an urgent opening, and resumes will be reviewed as they are received.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage funding activities for self-insured clients.

• Communicate claims registers to clients on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

• Prepare and distribute accurate billing statements, financial reports, and client invoices.

• Communicate regularly with external client contacts and internal departments regarding funding and billing matters.

• Monitor deadlines to ensure timely delivery of reports and financial information.

• Identify and resolve funding, billing, or reporting discrepancies by collaborating with appropriate departments.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to client funding activities.

• Support daily departmental operations and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• 0–1+ years of relevant work experience.

• Strong numerical aptitude and ability to work accurately with financial information.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across departments.

• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a remote team.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Some college coursework preferred.

• Previous experience in billing, eligibility, finance, or accounting support.

• Experience working with financial reports, invoices, or client account information.

• Familiarity with healthcare claims or self-insured client funding is a plus.

Additional Position Details
