IT Field Service Technician

Location: Reno, NV (service area)

Pay Rate: $21.00/HR W2, plus travel expenses (Increase to $23.50 upon permanent hire)

Hours: Full time, M-F, 9am-6pm, On-call rotation  

Duration: Contract-to-Hire  

Description:

• Field dispatch cases at customer sites, including repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and other various equipment. Covering the greater Reno, NV area
• Projects and cases installing, refreshing, replacing, and removing equipment.
• Working with end-users to resolve issues.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. 
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems. 
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Providing updates to management as needed.

Skills:

• Must live within 20 miles of 89506 zip code
• At least 2 years of Field Service experience
• A+ Certification is preferred
• Desktop, Laptop, Printer, POS break fix preferred
• Must be able to follow written instructions 
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service Skills 
• Hardware break-fix experience
• Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance 
• Installing
• Hardware IMAC 
• Reliable Transportation required (This is a driving position)
